As the BFI’s technical services partner, Inviron will maintain all of the organisation’s buildings, including both BFI Southbank and the iconic BFI IMAX in central London, the BFI National Archive in Hertfordshire and film vaults in Warwickshire.

Paul Horsley, operations manager at Inviron, says: “The BFI has a very broad remit and as such, a diverse range of buildings and venues in its portfolio. As their technical services partner we are a key support and shall ensure that all are run to the utmost efficiency and, in turn, that the numerous events and screenings run smoothly.

”The facilities require a range of tailored solutions to meet the demands of popular cinema venues to highly controlled film storage environments.”

Trevor Mawby, BFI Director of Finance and Resources, says: “The BFI runs the busiest public film archive in the world and reaches an audience of 7.5 million people through its public programmes every year, a large proportion delivered on our own premises. It is essential therefore that we work with partners who have the expertise, innovation and sensitivity to help us manage our critical vaults, venues and buildings. We have every confidence in Inviron and their ability to work to the highest possible standards.”
