Question: BS7671: 2008 Chapter 56 includes CO detection as a safety service. What would be the recommended wiring for a single unit having an internal battery back up? Could this be wired from lighting circuit supply?
Answer: We recommend wiring from the local lighting circuit, with an integral battery backup.
