IEE electrical course - Design

 

Two-day courses on electrical design will be held by the Institute of Electrical Engineers (IEE) over a range of dates and venues in 2004:

This course is aimed at the needs of designers, specifiers and others involved in the design and specification, of low voltage electrical installations.

Topics will include:

  • Overcurrent protection - principles and practice.
  • Shock protection - principles and practice. Isolation and switching.
  • Selection and erection of equipment.
  • Special installations or locations.

A design exercise based on a real installation will enable participants to apply much of what they have learnt.

The venues and dates:

1. London - 20-21 January 2004.

2. Manchester - 24-25 March 2004.

3. London - 27-28 April 2004.

4. London - 24-25 August 2004.

5. Birmingham - 15-16 September 2004.

6. London - 19-20 October 2004.

7. Glasgow - 09-10 November 2004.

The fees are: for members - £464.13 including VAT and, for non-members - £596.90 including VAT. IEE London evening meetings are held at IEE, Savoy Place, London WC2R 0BL.
