As communicated at the BEAMA Winter Conference 'Smarter Electricity Systems' (February 2010), BEAMA has been responding to the high profile 'Smart' agenda by developing a BEAMA Smart Energy campaign:
The BEAMA Smart Energy campaign will be based on an overarching activity plan that will be a collation of activity plans from smart metering, smart housing and smart networks.
This coordinated campaign will strengthen BEAMA's members' position by bringing together individual associations' excellence. It will ensure that their collective voice adds value to the Government decision-making process and is recognised as the first port of call for advice, guidance and input into ongoing policy development by Government ministers and officials.
