The Institution of Electrical Engineers (IEE) will be holding a series of courses entitled ‘Level 3 Certificate in the Requirements For Electrical Installations : BS 7671 Two day course - City & Guilds 2381’:

These courses by the IEE are aimed at practising electricians and electrical contractors and are intended to ensure that they are conversant with the format, content and the application of BS 7671 (June 2001). Following the course, delegates will normally sit the City & Guilds 2381 examination.

The course is also suitable for others who may require a basic working knowledge of BS 7671.

Topics include:

  1. Detailed examination of all parts of BS 7671.
  2. Selection and sizing of cables.
  3. Sizing of protective conductors.
  4. Using the IEE On-Site Guide.
  5. Preparation for City & Guilds 2381 examination.

The fees for these courses are: members (or co-sponsors) £395 + VAT (£464.13), and for non-members £508 + VAT (£596.90).
