Chokes in fluorescent luminaires

BookmarkThis 15.10.2009

Chokes in fluorescent luminaires can operate at high temperatures. It is sometimes necessary to connect fluorescent luminaires such that cables of the fixed installation are routed past internal components in the luminaire. Internal components, such as chokes, can operate at high temperature which could result in damage to the insulation of the cable.
