Wilts, the UK’s largest independent electrical wholesaler, has announced that it has been awarded the RoSPA Occupational Health and Safety Award. The Gold Medal shows an improvement for Wilts as it has won Gold for the last 4 years running.
RoSPA’s (Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents) mission is to save lives and reduce injuries.
Wilts employs over 700 people across 73 outlets and is very aware of the importance of maintaining a workplace that puts safety and care at the top of the agenda.
Dean Todd, Wilts Health and Safety Manager, “To get the Gold Medal Award after we have been awarded the Gold award for the last four years is a real achievement. We operate strict safety policies here for a reason, to keep staff and customers accident free. We do all we can to make that happen and RoSPA has again recognised our commitment to this. I’m determined to bring home the President’s award which is given after 7 Gold awards.”
The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents is a registered charity established more than 90 years ago that aims to campaign for change, influence, opinion, contribute to debate, educate and inform – for the good of all.
