Balfour Beatty has merged Balfour Kilpatrick and Haden Young into Balfour Beatty Engineering Services, creating a £600 million m&e giant.

The brands previously operated as separate specialist businesses within the Balfour Beatty Group.

Balfour Beatty Engineering Services managing director, John Moore, said: “Balfour Beatty Engineering Services is the largest organisation of its type in the UK, offering a range of services and capabilities unique in the mechanical and electrical market.

“It combines the strong positions already occupied by Balfour Kilpatrick and Haden Young in the regional m&e, healthcare and education, power systems and power project markets and provides one point of contact for customers.

“Harnessing the capabilities of these two businesses and exploiting their combined strengths in a focused, customer-facing organisation, with streamlined processes, will ensure that we take our engineering services business forward in the best way for continuing, sustained success.”
