Offering IP65 protection against dust and moisture, this compact, high-performance luminaire uses 4-cell control gear to deliver a high emergency ballast lumen factor, while a high-efficiency reflector controls the distribution of light to ensure optimum spacing.
An extra-high-output green LED is provided for mains/charge healthy indication, and this is easily visible from ground level, even with high ambient lighting levels.
Designed to enable compliance with EN1838/BS5266 part 7, Alfalux High Bay is supplied with BSI-verified spacing data to achieve the minimum illumination levels of 1Lux for escape routes and 0.5Lux for open areas. It is particularly suitable for applications in sports halls, warehouses and factories.
The luminaire is available in non-maintained, maintained and slave versions – the maintained version being ideal for use wherever low-level background illumination is required for night lighting or security applications.
With its hinged geartray and push-in wire terminals for the mains supply, the luminaire is simple to install.
This sturdy fitting features a die-cast aluminium base, finished in white powder-coated paint, and is equipped with a heavy-duty clear polycarbonate diffuser. Supplied complete with an 8W lamp, the luminaire has overall dimensions of 400 x 136 x 95mm.
