Nexans wins an airfield lighting cable contract in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

Nexans, the worldwide leader in the cable industry, has won a contract from Almabani to supply special airfield lighting cables for King Abdul Aziz International Airport (KAIA) in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Almabani is the general contractor for the current airfield facilities upgrade project at KAIA that forms part of a major redevelopment of the airport to expand its capacity to 80 million passengers per year – including the capability to handle the new Airbus A380 Superjumbo aircraft.
