As part of the company’s senior management team, John will be responsible for the development and coordination of a market proposition to deliver a combined offering, which incorporates all of its managed services functions. The move further strengthens the company’s long-term strategy to diversify, in order to better meet the needs of a wider customer base.

John will work very closely with Jane Skelton, who was appointed late last year as MD of this area of the business. They will work together to establish NG Bailey’s information communication and technological expertise as a stand-alone offering, as well as working in conjunction with the company’s services division, Bailey Building Services, to provide an integrated package covering both the building and business system infrastructures.

John joins NG Bailey from Operon, where he was business development director for 8 years.  During this time, John helped to grow Operon’s FM division by over £35 million.  He has significant industry experience and specific skills in bid management and business development, in particular in the FM arena.

Speaking about his new role, John said: “I’m looking forward to working with Jane and the team and leading NG Bailey’s managed services offering into a new and exciting phase.”

Mark Andrews, chief executive of NG Bailey, adds: “At NG Bailey, we believe the future of building services is as much about the provision of integrated service infrastructures, as it is about the traditional M&E offerings.

John has extensive expertise in managing significant bids, which will no doubt prove invaluable to us as we continue to strengthen our overall business offering.”
