The British Approvals Service for Cables will be attending Sparks Expo, the first UK trade show for trainee electricians at Newbury Race Course in Berkshire in April.
The event - organised by electrotechnical trainee publication SPARKS - has been specially designed for electrotechnical students to gain a greater understanding of the industry.
Representatives of BASEC will be on hand to provide advice and demonstrate the importance of safety, quality and adherence to compliant standards with regard to cables.
The event also enables students and apprentices to meet with other students and tutors, manufacturers and industry organisations.
The two day event, to be held on the 23rd and 24th April, includes live product demonstrations, technical seminars and provides an opportunity for students to question industry experts first hand.
