| How to wire a pillar drill? |

Question: Is it permitted to wire a 13A socket outlet on to a three-phase isolator that is feeding a pillar drill, using one phase and the neutral.
Answer: This may not be the preferred option, but - providing that the socket and wiring has appropriate circuit protection (MCB etc), and the supply to the isolator is not overloaded by this addition - then this arrangement is acceptable.
