From electrical engineering to mining rubies, MEM Founder Walter L. Barber lived a fascinating life.  At the young age of 28, he founded MEM Conybere Street, less than three miles from the present Reddings Lane factory. 

Granddaughter, Sally Bromwich, shares the story behind her grandfather, a true hard working entrepreneur.
