Organisations taking part in CIBSE’s 100 Hours of Carbon Clean up Campaign will be eligible to enter the prestigious 2009 Low Carbon Performance Awards.
All participants who have accepted the challenge of pledging 100 staff hours to commit to carbon saving activities will be able to share their success stories and prove why they have the winning entry.
The 2nd annual CIBSE Low Carbon Performance Awards are taking place at the Grosvenor House Hotel on 4th February 2009; celebrating proven achievements in delivering carbon savings in commercial buildings.
The 2008 awards were presented by Dame Ellen MacArthur and Dr Iain Stewart – the 2009 special guests will be announced shortly. Over 800 guests attended the first Low Carbon Performance Awards back in February of this year, and the high standard of entries ensured that competition was fierce.
Categories are open to participants in CIBSE’s current ‘100 Hours of Carbon Clean up Campaign’ and registered CIBSE Low Carbon Consultants and Low Carbon Energy Assessors.
2008 winners included the Natural History Museum for ‘Best Carbon Saving Campaign’, Bolton Wanderers Football Club for ‘Best Carbon Saving Programme’, and Faber Maunsell for ‘Low Carbon New Build Project of the Year’.
Further information on entry forms and deadlines for entry will be available soon.
Please note: only participants in CIBSE’s current ‘100 Hours of Carbon Clean up Campaign’ and registered CIBSE Low Carbon Consultants and Low Carbon Energy Assessors can enter.
