The KEL cable entry system from Phoenix Contact allows pre-assembled cables to be routed into control cabinets in a safe and space-saving manner.
The KEL cable entry system from Phoenix Contact allows pre-assembled cables to be routed into control cabinets in a safe and space-saving manner. The cut-outs and mounting dimensions of the KEL system match the standard dimensions of heavy-duty plug connectors that are usually offered in control cabinets.
Up to 40 cables in protection category IP 54 can be fed into the control cabinet through a standardized cut-out. The slotted sleeves are securely fixed in half of the cable inlet frame. The sleeves can take in cables with a diameter of 3 mm to 34 mm and serve simultaneously as a strain relief according to the DIN-EN-50262 standard. Thanks to the system’s modular design and ease of use, individual cables can be quickly and conveniently added or replaced at any time. The KEL-Snap frame comes with integrated sealing on both sides, which means there is no need to fit any seals. By using a frame, the KEL strip can be simply snapped on without the need for any tools.
Together with Phoenix Contact’s Combi plug system, the KEL system represents a fast and inexpensive alternative to heavy-duty plug connectors.
