Any competitor products that have the appearance and features of the Merlin Gerin C60 MCBs and Compact NS MCCBs, but which do not carry the Merlin Gerin label or description, are not manufactured or supplied by Schneider Electric Limited, and their supply is not authorised by Schneider Electric Limited.
We strongly advise customers who are offered these non-Schneider products to request test and conformity certification.
Tested assemblies:
Furthermore, any other manufacturers' circuit breakers or cabinet housing installed on, or in conjunction with, Schneider (non-branded) Isobar busbar systems or Powerpact pan assemblies have not been type-tested by Schneider Electric Limited. Where non-Merlin Gerin products are used in this way, no warranty or guarantee on any part of the installation will be offered by Schneider Electric Limited. Schneider Electric Limited has not seen any certification for these mixed brand solutions.
Schneider Electric Limited uses authorised reputable distributors to stock and sell its products. Distributors that promote and sell copied products, which appear to have the same features and benefits as Schneider products, are legally liable for their safety and quality, and are acting without the authorisation of Schneider Electric Limited.
