Weidmüller’s Coax surge protection range offers surge protection solutions for all coax based data networks. The new range of surge protection devices have been designed to protect coax data networks, with very good transmission rates and low attenuation characteristics. There are four variants in the product family:
• BNC: Protection for video monitoring systems.
• Type N: Protection for transmitters, GSM.
• Type F: Protection for satellite systems.
• UHF: Protection for terrestrial television systems.
Earthing connections are made via M6 screws on the housing for all models except the UHF which comes complete with 1.5mm2 connection cable.
