Shower specialist Redring’s new all-chrome Selectronic Mixer has been granted full TMV approval. The Redring Selectronic is a thermostatic shower - with a full Patent - through the ceiling water connection which fits to virtually every possible type and style of plumbing system, at any pressure from 0.1 to 7.0 Bar.
Full certification has come from the TMV Scheme, an independent third party approval scheme administered by Buildcert. The TMV Scheme certifies Type 3 thermostatic mixing valves manufactured to meet the highest specifications required by the NHS Estates and D08 standard for mixing valves for use within health care premises in the United Kingdom.
The TMV Scheme also certifies Type 2 thermostatic mixing valves for the domestic market and is working with the Child Accident Prevention Trust to promote the safe use of hot water in domestic premises
The Redring Selectronic Mixer is quick and easy installation to install, with only two fixings required – and no need to hack out tiled walls; it is perfect for replacing existing showers. By utilising the riser rail to route the hot and cold supplies through the ceiling this shower has one of the quickest installation times on the market.
This patent pending design from Redring features the highest quality components, ensuring a reliable, durable product. Chrome-plated brass fittings and all-metal construction looks great in modern bathrooms and offer a trouble-free long working life. This contemporary, stylish design and an easy-clean shower head are set to be a big hit with modern consumers and professional buyers alike.
Most importantly in a thermostatic mixer shower the Redring Selectronic has superb temperature response, with automatic shutdown if the cold water supply fails - an important feature for children, OAPs and the less able.
The Selectronic mixer is ideally suited to new installations or retro-fit in just about any type of residential accommodation or commercial application including hotels, gyms or schools.
