Question: Can you suggest where I can find a connection wiring diagram for a Legrand RCBO 40A Type B - two-module? (I have used MK Electric ones previously but these appear to have a different layout).

Answer: Legrand RCBOs are wired with the supply connected into the top of the unit and the load on the bottom, the live connection on the left and the neutral on the right. There are two versions of the product, one with a solid neutral and the other with a switched. If you have the part number I can let you know which one this is.

Thanks for your earlier reply to my question about Legrand's 40A type B RCBO. The modules are:

  • Part No.007784
  • Part No.007737

I'm looking at fitting either module into a Tenby C Series consumer unit.

Answer 2: 40A RCBO for Tenby C series consumer unit - The RCBO unit you should be fitting in our old Tenby Consumer unit is part ref. 0077 84. This is the version which has a flying neutral lead for connection to the neutral terminal block.
