For example, Schneider Electric has developed a specific version of its proven and extremely widely used Prisma Plus electrical distribution switchboards. The Prisma Medical boards are especially reliable and have extremely low maintenance. They are easy to install and because they offer a modular design, they can be configured to meet any application up to 3200A.
For patient care, the company’s specially designed bedhead trunking enables a comprehensive array of power, gas and air, telephony and entertainment infrastructure to be located safely at each bed. Indeed, Schneider Electric has forged partnerships with Sure-Call (Call-Master), a nurse call systems provider; Airwave Europe Ltd, patient entertainment systems; and gas and air providers; to deliver a turnkey solution for wards.
