John Hollingworth has been appointed Business Manager of Elkay Electrical as part of a move to further raise the profile of the brand’s innovative range of energy saving switches and controls.

Formerly Market and Product Development Manager for Elkay, John was responsible for overseeing the development and launch of the energyrange of switches, timers and accessories – specifically designed to produce significant energy and cost savings across lighting, heating and other load applications – which has been enthusiastically received by the market. Prior to working for Elkay, John was a Senior Design Engineer of engine management systems within the car industry, working specifically on reducing CO2 emissions.
As Business Manager, John’s role will be to oversee the Elkay business and further develop energy saving products and promote Elkay’s new Energy Audits to businesses:
“As an authority on energy saving switches and controls, we are now able to go into an organisation, undertake an audit of their annual energy usage and demonstrate how the installation of our products could make substantial savings” he explained.
It’s a concept which has been welcomed by several blue chip companies who are keen to see how they can significantly reduce both costs and carbon emissions.
