The company’s latest new product, the Socket & See Test Lead Extension Adapter Kit, the TELK 400, is now available as two compact, lightweight adapters that can be stored in a tool box and are offered at a fraction of the cost of the commonly used dedicated 50 metre Wander Test Lead.
These innovative new adapters will allow the electrician to safely and easily make up and use a wander test lead using an existing 13A extension reel, for connection to the Main Earthing Terminal at the Consumer Unit, to measure R2 and earth bond continuity.
The Socket & See Test Lead Extension Adapter Kit is supplied in two parts. The TELP 10, Extension Earth Plug and the TELS 20, Extension 13A Socket.
Simply use the TELK 400 to convert any extension lead into a wander test lead – any length you want! A three-metre earth lead with crocodile clip is supplied with the kit for easy connection to the main earthing terminal. Any brand of test instrument can be used with the operation being perfectly safe, as only the earth path of the cable is used.
