The Ortronics certification programme ensures the company teams exclusively with well established, highly technical organisations dedicated to the same high level of quality and performance requirements in their installation process that Ortronics has in its product development.
London based Bailey Teswaine was formed in November 2004 following the merger of Teswaine Business Communications and Bailey Telecom. The merged company, with its headquarters in London’s Docklands has a strong national presence through its regional offices.
The certification programme not only bolsters the credibility of Ortronics’ certified installers, but also provides end-users with the greatest possible assurance in the quality of their structured cabling systems.
Ortronics certified installers’ skills are ensured by means of annual assessments and refresher training. Ortronics industry standard-based programmes encompass design, application, installation, troubleshooting and testing of telecommunications infrastructures. Andrew Birch, Ortronics’ country manager, said: “Eighty per cent of network failures stem from problems related to the cabling systems. These problems arise when certain components are mutually incompatible or unsuitable, or when the project has not been installed in compliance with good practice.
“Because we are so confident of the quality of our products and the reliability of our certified installers, we offer 25-year warranty programmes covering the systems, our components and applications. By guaranteeing long-term system reliability, Ortronics ensures that end-users benefit for many years from the security and peace of mind they receive.”
