Part of the Vent-Axia Lo Carbon™ initiative, the LoWatt HR204 is a SAP Appendix Q listed solution capable of 70% heat recovery whilst the 205 MEV is a central extract system designed to operate solely from a cooker hood location.

The new LoWatt HR204 heat recovery system is designed to remove warm, moist air from ‘wet’ rooms, such as, bathrooms and kitchens, passing the stale air through the unit’s heat exchanger before it is exhausted to outside. Fresh incoming air is pre-heated via this integral heat exchanger which recovers up to 70% of the heat energy that would otherwise be wasted. The unit’s energy saving Vent-Axia LoWatt DC motors further improve its efficiency and carbon reducing capabilities.

With a performance of up to 185m3/h FID capacity (balanced airflow), Vent-Axia’s HR204 is ideal for flats, apartments and smaller dwellings, fully complying with the latest requirements of the Building Regulations Part F 2006 for wholehouse ventilation. The compact and quiet-running unit is suitable for installation in kitchen or airing cupboards with inlet and discharge ducts connected to outside walls, roof or central risers.

Vent-Axia’s new 205MEV is a central extract unit which can remove cooking fumes, odours and other pollutants, whilst simultaneously ventilating separate areas from within the dwelling. Integrated within the telescopic cooker hood, this low noise unit is suitable for continuous operation. It features an integral fire damper and six speed operation, which can be boosted with an external controller.

Across the country, Vent-Axia has been working with local authorities, housing associations, regional electricity companies, key consultants, contractors and specifiers to further the benefits of low carbon ventilation, promote healthier indoor environments and eliminate condensation and mould problems. For further information on the Vent-Axia Lo-Carbon™ initiative and other central extract systems available, telephone 01293 441616 or visit www.vent-axia.com.
