The Old Truman Brewery in London was the most recent stopover of Philips’ ‘Transitions Light on the Move’ – a travelling exhibition featuring 8 very different self-contained lighting designs from 8 leading European architects and designers.
“We want designers to push us on a technological front,” said Mike Simpson, Philips Lighting UK Design Director. “Here is where design and technology mix, to create something for the future.”
Created within separate industrial containers, these innovative exhibits gave visitors the opportunity to experience the incredible effects of architectural light and lighting technology.
“This event encourages other designers to open up their mind to the new and innovative technology we have,” said Gerry O’Donnell, Philips Lighting UK Managing Director. “These boxes are full of imagination.”
Check out the ‘Transitions Light on the Move’ website to find out more about the events, including project descriptions and designer profiles.
