Question: Is there one overall exam a qualified electrician can now take to offer full compliance to BS7671 - 17th edition? If there isn't one, please advise the minimum exams required. Answer: In England & Wales, you will generally need to take an appropriate C&G course. Either a 2382 or a 2392 course will suffice, depending upon the type of work you carry out. The following are examples of what you can undertake:
- Requirements of the Regulations: 2382-20
- Inspection, testing & certification: 2392-20
- Design & verification: 2392-30.
