With a housing width of just 12.5 mm, the new MACX Analog Interfaces from Phoenix Contact offer a complete range of compact EXi signal isolators. Its compact design saves up to 45 percent more space in the control cabinet.

In its first phase, this new range of products already offers all of the essential functions, such as HART-capable transducer feeders and output isolation amplifiers, NAMUR isolation switching amplifiers, valve control modules and FDT/DTM programmable temperature transducers.

All one- and two-channel devices feature galvanized three-way isolation. An innovative circuit design ensures precise transmission characteristics with minimal power loss.

Pluggable and coded connection terminal blocks, whether with screw or spring-cage models, enable easy, convenient installation. The auxiliary energy supply and general error messages can take place quickly and cost-efficiently via a DIN rail connector. All intrinsically safe devices are licensed by ATEX and IEC-Ex and can be installed in Ex Zone 2. SIL licenses permit use in safety-oriented applications in accordance with IEC 61508.
