Controlling lights in corridor
What product is best suited to automatically switch lights on and off in a corridor that is 25m long with 5 office doors running off it. |

The most suitable product for this type of application would be the 380A-1 Elkay Microwave Sensor (Product Code 380A-1).
The sensor transmits a signal up to 30 metres and a receiver checks for movement. When sensing movement it turns on the appliance or load connected to it.
The major advantage of this switch is the lower installation cost of fitting 1 switch in the area instead of 5 PIRs to cover the same area.
Particular care should be given to Fire doors in corridors as these would require additional switches for each section of corridor.
