IEC 61386 is the new European standard governing the performance of flexible conduit (and rigid) systems in electrical installations.

Dear User,

This month, you can learn a little more about IEC61386 - the new flexible conduit standard. Read on:

IEC 61386 is the new European standard governing the performance of flexible conduit (and rigid) systems in electrical installations. Superseding the current European flexible conduit systems standards, EN 50086, IEC 61386 covers performance requirements for use of such products in electrical installation applications. It is expected that the standard will fully replace EN 50086 by 2007.
