Application
The Nexans Essential-6 patch cords are manufactured and testedto the latest Category 6 specifications and support Class Eapplications up to 250 MHz. They are matched to be compatible withthe complete Essential-6 modular and PCB range in order to delivera full end-to-end Class E system.
Design
The Essential-6 patch cords contain, in accordance with theEssential-6 cable, a central PE cross member, keeping the pairs inplace and reducing the risk of losing performance when bending thecords. Standard available lengths are 1, 2, 3 and 5m. Each cord isindividually bagged and carries a traceability code.
Performance
The Essential-6 cords are compliant with the specifications ofISO/IEC 11801:2002.
Installation
Thanks to their small nominal outer diameter, the Essential-6cords are as easy to install and manage in a rack as their Cat 5eequivalent.
