||Session 2. (BS7671 Part 1 & 2) Scope, Objects and Fundamental Principles, Definitions. Topics expanded to include Health and Safety at Work Act, Electricity at work Regulations|
|Session 3. (BS7671 Part 3) Assessment of General Characteristics Topics expanded to include Maximum Demand, Arrangement of live conductors and types of earthing, Nature of Supply, and Installation circuit arrangements.
||Session 4 (BS7671 Part 4) Protection For Safety. Topics expanded to include Electric Shock, Protection against Direct and Indirect Contact, Earthing Systems, Earth Fault Impedance, Protection against fire, burns, Overcurrent and Fault Current, Isolation and Switching.|
|Session 5. (BS7671 Part 5) Selection and Erection of Equipment. Topics expanded to include Operational Conditions and external influences, Design Current.
||Session 6 (BS7671 Part 6) Special Installations. Topics expanded to include Locations Containing a Bath or Shower, Swimming Pools, Hot Air Saunas, Construction sites, Agriculture and horticultural locations, Restrictive conductive locations. Installations having high protective conductor currents, Caravans and Caravan Sites, Highway supplies and street located equipment.|

On completion of the course the delegates will be conversant with BS7671 IEE 16th Edition of the Electrical Wiring Regulations and the IEE Onsite Guide.
Delegates are advised to bring their own copies of BS7671, IEE Onsite Guide. Copies of BS7671, IEE Onsite Guide are available during the course for delegates who do not bring their own.
Group Question and answer sessions are a key element of this course with detailed feedback from the group tutor. During the course the delegates will have time to work on tutorials designed to improve their use of BS7671 and IEE Onsite Guide.
